possible?
I do have to apologize in advance bc i could not find exactly what i was looking for, but anyways here it goes.
Is it possible to put the gps unit of the 370z into a stock z w/o gps and Bose? Again thanks in advance |
your much better off going with an aftermarket unit IMO... :twocents:

Possible? Yes
Worth it? No |
The GPS (or the screen that you are talking about) is all one unit with the radio. you would have to replace your radio/cd player with one. Not only that I am not sure if the base has the wireing harness in the dash for the hookup or not. also because you have to have the Bose unit you would also need the speakers and amp unless you do some custom setup. There is also the bluetooth speaker that is attached to that unit which I have no clue as to where the mic is located. and dont forget the little shark fin on the top of the car. So to make it work you would end up spending more money than just purchasing it in the first place. I would suggest going aftermarket or if you really feel you must have the nissan system trade yours in on a model that has nav. I hope this helps.

https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-1...800/Teaser.JPG Ron did a similar setup to mine but just the OEM dash piece to allow the lower piece to fit. Now he just has to make a custom piece to fill the gap depending on what he decides to do next. http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n...3/IMG_1625.jpg |
