Default Escort Passport 9500ix vs. Redline

What do you guys think about both of these will be purchasing one in the next few days having trouble deciding which one to go with? I am leaning towards the 9500ix because of the gps and auto false alarm delete and other features. Does anyone have any experience with both or either of the two? Thanks guy

Don't have either, but based on my extensive research the 9500ix I believe is the way to go. The redline has longer range, but to the point that it's pointless and not any additional help. From what I've seen the 9500ix has more than enough range and the features to boot. I'm curious to see what people who actually have them think though, just my based on my own research.

I have the 9500ix, had to send it in to get the TSR upgrade because I was getting a lot of false K bands around my area. FYI the newer models come with this pre-installed.

I absolutely love it. It's very accurate and customizable. Pair it with the blendmount and a stealth cord and you got yourself a clean setup.

I have both unit's - Highway and freeway - redline all the way!
City driving 9500ix!
I find the 9500ix range isnt enough for highway use.
just from my exprience.

9500IX... the GPS makes all the difference. However I have not personally used the redline unit

If you're on hilly/curvy terrain, I don't think any radar detector will help. If there's a squad cresting a hill or coming around a blind corner you won't get much notice other than the detector going full blast letting you know you've been tagged.

So driving downhill or uphill the radar will not pick up anything? From what I read these detectors work 360 degree?

Also I prefer the Redline because its a stealth detector, cops can't detect you using it.

Do tell? I didn't know cops could detect radar detectors? What makes Redline stealth?

It has a radar detector, detector blocker. Not a huge concern they're legal in 48 states and i will never drive to the states that they are outlawed.
