Solid red with 15%

Finally got around to getting the Z tinted (just in time for summer too).. Went with 15% so no-one can see my head-unit etc. (or at least i hope not).

Like the dark tint... cops, probably not so much! What's legal tint in FL?

No idea. I see dark all the time though.
Its probably not as dark in person, but %15 is still %15. I doubt ill get hassled. mainly cruise around with the windows down anyway.

Just curious, in TX it's 25% for door windows (coupe) and no limit on the 1/4 and rear windows. Would I like to go lower on the doors, absolutely, but it's not worth getting hassled by LE.

Still, nice lookin Z!

Why don't you want anyone seeing your head unit? You watching porn as you drive?

Actually i believe its the same here.. unlimited anywhere else, 30% front.. but i wanted it all to match, especially the small (quarter panel?) windows behind the front ones... and i wanted it all to match the black plastic bit.

In Florida it's 28% for the front windows and 15% for the rear windows.
Welcome to TintLaws.com

I had 20% front/15% rear on my last car for the last eight years and never had a problem.

My Z came with 15% all around. Shouldn't be a problem unless you do something to really piss off the cop.

In TX. we have to the stupid state inspection and they check your tint if its not legal you wont pass the inspection. So I rather just not bother.

dark tint goes well with red, you should tint the windshield as well then it gets really illegal. lol

You must live in a really nice neighborhood . It's so he doesn't come out of the market one day to find a busted window and a missing HU because some douchebag was able to see it through and un-tinted window.

Nobody breaks into cars anymore to take HU, this ain't the 1990's. Nowadays they will break in and take the whole damn car. And you can't even take the factory HU out anyways, unless your an expert.

I wouldn't underestimate the power of stupidity. I could see some idiot kid breaking a window and trying to take our headunit with no success.
