Yeah, I was wondering the same thing. What are the clear strips made of? They sure look like the plastic diffusers from recessed ceiling lamps.

I honestly have no idea. You would haveto ask mike. Just give him a call.

I wish I had a better camera because my night pics on here are not that good. If I get my hands on a better camera or anyone in north jersey is around I don't mind meeting up for better pics :)

If you would have gone for something cheaper like all of us might be left with some change to buy a nice camera :icon17:

j/k

Seriously expensive, especially if you have to provide your own headlights. It looks cool, but a bit 'busy' for my taste. To each his own. Glad you like it OP, but that guy representing the company does come off as a bit arrogant. I've seen the 'other' vendor's work and they came out great. It's a customized headlight, not a work of art and certainly not rocket science. I personally couldn't justify spending this much for a headlight or spend that money towards a pair of snails.

I know exactly what you're talking about. It looks like it is.

What would my friends say when I said I spent 4K on headlight mod .... are they suppose to be "WOW, yo you so baller yo" or ...

ZMan8 05-01-2012 12:53 PM

wasn't there a thread complaining about this company?

phelan 05-01-2012 01:08 PM

oof, tbh, it looks really busy to me. fewer LEDs would be better IMO, but hey, as long as you like it

gotta admit though, the turn light LED strip conversion looks pretty smexy. if the secondary boomerang shape (lit amber) was left alone, i think it'd look cleaner.

*ignoring any and all discussion of cost here*

now that you have a crazy headlight though, you need a balls out body kit to balance it all out :rofl2:

I like those side markers. Look good!

I'm sorry but that looks horrible. Are those made out of the clear diffuser panels from fluorescent light boxes, like you'd find in an office in a drop-ceiling?

:iagree: looks like :barf:

Good point haha, I was thinking the Amuse kit myself. But I think I want to do the turbo conversion first. I was thinking GTM but not i got my eye on the BoostPerformance Single build :) Id much more prefer a single

Just read this thread and like everyone else has said 4K is way to much for this... if i had 4K laying around i would attempt this myself lol OEM light $400 so i have a few trys to get it right. Then i would save me at least $2-3K :happydance:
