Rear badge details
Hey guys and gals,
I was wondering if someone can help me out. I am looking to replace the rear nissan burger badge on my 370z. But what I was wondering is if there are any holes behind the badge like on the rear 350z badges. Any information on this would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Jay :icon17: |
As far as in aware, both the front and rear both have 2 holes

Just replaced both of mine last week. The emblem only has body tape holding it in place, no screws/holes.

Here is a mock up of a clean rear end. I'm thinking I like this enough to do it to my Z, but still pondering. There's a DIY around here somewhere on how to use dental floss to remove the emblems, but it seems pretty self-explanatory to me.

You are gonna have to do bodywork and painting to get that look from de-badging since the emblems are seated into the bumpers.
|
Yeah, Nissan wanted the hamburger to be kept right where is it, for sure. Bummer. But at least the model id ("370Z") on the left does come off cleanly. It's tempting to get me some Bondo for that center burger, but I probably won't (too much like work).

Bondo would break off or crack around the edges anyways. You would need a flexible plastic repair product. So make sure to look into that if you decide to go that route.

Thanks very much for the reply guys. I am not sure what I am going to replace it with as there is not a great choice over in the U.K. Can anyone recommend a website to visit where you got yours? I initially wanted to put a Tommy K badge in the middle but it wont fit due to the squares that are left after you take the nissan burger is taken off.
