Speedometer error - sticks at 50mph and will not drop
Speedometer sticks at 50mph when car comes to a complete STOP. It will not drop to ZERO until 10 minutes after car has been turned off. Speedo will move up the gauge as car accelerates but is very slow to drop back down to 50mph where it will stay even at idle and completely stopped.
Off to the dealership to see what they can diagnose. My suspicion is a short somewhere within the electrical system OR ground wires. Did some searching on the forum before starting this thread, could not find anything under key word "speedometer" in Interior\Exterior section of forum. Enjoy the pics....funny thing with first pic. My car according to the speedometer is traveling 50mph IN THE GARAGE....haha. Large garage and BBK's???
