What are the "fin" type things that go on the bumper?
Hey I am looking for something I used to see a lot on the 350z but I don't know what they are called.
What I'm talking about is the carbon fiber pieces that kinda look like fins, and they are attached on the sides of the front bumper. Does anyone know what I am talking about? |

Why can I not find many threads about these? Are they considered to be RICE? I guess it doesn't matter because I can't find any made for the Nismo bumper. But I thought they looked pretty cool

A bumper canard has a legitimate benefit in that it provides downforce in the front for actual race cars. Very few people here drive actual race cars, or get up to speeds (on a racetrack of course) where this would have a real benefit.

Go look at DTM race cars....those things are really all canarded up...front and rear fenders. Unlike our NASCRAP "stock" cars, they (DTM) really do use the actual car shell or body for race cars..so they needs lots of aero effects.

Not sure if those will fit the Nismo bumper. I spotted this on the Performance Motorsports facebook page.
