Default Empty space behind driver side.

I wanted to know what is underneath that little space behind the driver side? I am planning on mounting my zex bottle there. I believe the passenger side space under that is the gas tank? Any and all help would be appreciated.

Pretty sure the gas tank is like a saddle bag, I believe it is on that side as well. This is why the 370Z has fuel starvation issues.... ugh

I thought in the older overseas cars they put the nav HDD there? I figure some room was available. Not sure I'd want any gas bottles in the passenger compartment anyways. That's just me.

The compartment in front of the rear strut towers and behind the crossbrace holds the Bose amp, Bluetooth control box and the XM/Sirus radio and antenna adapter boxes under the large styrofoam filler panel.

Why not just bracket it to the tower bar?

Has anybody had any experience pulling out that plastic paneling behind the driver side? I'd like to see what is under that.

The fuel tank is behind both passenger and drivers side. The fuel pump and main sender unit are behind passenger side, and the secondary sender unit is behind driver side.
