Getting ready to install mine also. When you use the pry tool so you pry down the the black trim around the lights?? Just wanted to make sure I am prying in right place.

I start on the inside sides. I've removed mine several times without any problems. There are 4 tabs, 2 on each side. Somewhere I even put up a video on removal. Quite simple really. Either on the JWMotoring thread or perhaps my Journal.

Yeah, just pry between the black housing and the light cover(white looking piece)Start anywhere you want to really, but ive found it to be a little easier to start on the inside(nearer to the light switch). Seems to pry off a little easier. Let me know how it goes!

I did all my lights to with JW LEDs. Be very gentle with the map light cover. Those tabs holding them on look fragile. The trick is to work it off slowly and be patient. I ended up putting a dab of plastic adhesive on the sticky pad as they fell off after a few days. Surprising considering how sticky the pad seems but
oh well. The red LED interior lights look great! |
