Default Amuse vs UAM

Hey guys was wondering about the original amuse wing vs the UAM amuse replica wing, are they the same functionality wise? Because I'm sure that amuse wouldn't relese this kit without it being functional so is the UAM replica functional like the amuse one or just for looks? And on another note what are the benefits or function of having the amuse wing? Because a friend of mine told me that it will slow the cars acceleration or something like that due to it being a bit big, messes with areo dynamics, it's better for tracing etc but not so much for straight lines does that have any truth to it?

I'm also considering UAM's Amuse replica. Interested in answers as well

Yes, if it is an exact replica then it should have the same effect on the car as the Amuse. To answer your other question, wings create drag which will affect your top speed. They also increase down force which will improve traction.
