Hey guys,
New to the forum, just got my 370Z a week ago. Decided its probably ideal to do an oil change after the first 500 miles. Anyways, I'm not very mechanically inclined, so I let me roommate complete my oil change. After everything was finished, noticed my floor board on my drivers side was up about 2 inches higher. He must have jacked it up using that part underneath. Luckily, we didn't feel or see anything severe was damaged, but it was definitely pushed up. I took out the foam insert that's underneath the carpeting, that obviously made everything flush again. I took a picture to show, because I don't know if its worth fixing, if its anything serious, or if its nothing to worry about. Regardless, we couldn't find any openings, even though the black "soft" stuff you see looks cracked, it actually pushed together with my fingers. Please give me your thoughts. Thanks. ![]() |
