K20A2_S 06-03-2009 07:04 PM

What side skirts are those?

Are you going to black out the headlights? or color match them?

going to black out the door handles??

gatorfast 06-03-2009 07:48 PM

JDM_ED 06-03-2009 08:10 PM

Only one word for that: Beautiful. I don't digg the rims but the rest of the car is just perfect. Good Job!!!:tup:

molamann 06-03-2009 08:13 PM

How do you exactly wash and maintain the overlays? Do you just replace em every couple of months or something?

Brazilbro 06-03-2009 09:40 PM

It's most likely just how you would maintain a clear bra. It's pretty much just the same as your paint. I believe you can wax over it to.

What happens to the paint under the vinyl? Does the vinyl off-gas and effect the clearcoat? Does the clearcoat haze from moisture trapped under the vinyl?

Can't imagine that covering multi-stage paint with vinyl is without consequences. Is it?

joejo02 06-03-2009 10:39 PM

OMG Thats what I want!! Looks awesome.

Diversion 06-04-2009 10:30 PM

Very classy and well done.. Wonder how it would look on brilliant silver... I might have to pull the trigger and move on this!

Diversion 06-04-2009 10:32 PM

Oh I think a dark gray/silver color would look great on a black Z.

Justin1686 06-04-2009 11:00 PM

I would really love to see this exact layout on a Blue 370. If anyone has magic Photoshop skills that could show a Blue that would be nice.

I would love to purchase this setup!!!

CBRich 06-06-2009 09:00 PM

VIP, I know you guys are in CA but I'm wondering if you may know anyone through the business in the SC area that you would recommend to install your overlays.

Ditto in black and in yellow or orange as well. The silver pin stripe really sets it off.

VIP any info on the care and maintainance or effect on the paint questions posted earlier?

TacoZ 06-07-2009 02:30 AM

Maybe this is a stupid question but why are overlays so expensive? Aren't they just vinyl?

MoChu 08-25-2009 11:35 AM

Where can I buy these overlays?? Thanks

sup man... they are vinyl... but the time takin out of ur hands because they come pre cut saves u alot of time and mistakes... not to mention frustration.... u can just get vinyl and try to stick it on ur self... and if u mess up then u can get the overlay... if u dont mess up u saved alota cash...

JoeD 08-27-2009 07:22 PM

Very nice!

I would love to see a Z in full matte black. As played-out as that is in CA, it always looks badass when properly done.
