I think you just help me make my decision on a wing! I have a pearl white Z like this, and been searching for awhile. Thanks man for the pics! I love the rear diffuser as well, very nice looking. Might have to pick me up one like this as well. Got a link?

EVOR 05-13-2014 07:45 PM

Rear diffuser is by Varis. Wing: EVO-R INC. Nissan 370Z Z34 High Wing

Anyone have a shot of the wing through the back hatch (from inside)? Curious about visibility. Also curious if you can get it body colored with wing in black.

Here is a pic of the Nismo wing. EVO-R is slightly higher, so you would see a few inches more at the bottom.

The Z-store website says the following:

Quote:

It simply installs using the same mounting holes as the factory wing.

Thanks for that. So it seems that rear visibility is significantly affected by both wings, but particularly the EVOR high wing.

cooltoy 05-22-2014 04:32 PM

You get used to it. Rear camera helps for parking.

blackbird 05-22-2014 05:47 PM

Installing the EVO-R wing was too much for the people I use. I have the original NISMO spoiler and that was just attached with tape as is the new NISMO spoiler. The wing required holes and "welding" something according to the installer. I tried to return the wing. I called Jay Shieh at EVO-R and left messages requesting the address and a return number. Sent e-mails the requesting the same. No response. So am out the money and the wing is sitting near a dumpster. BTW the wing came from Taiwan. they have some nice looking stuff but I wouldn't do business again with them ever again.

cooltoy 05-22-2014 07:17 PM

Sell it.

I have a hard time believing that the Nismo spoiler is only held on with tape. I guarantee there are bolts.

Guys im looking to buy one of these this week.

I have been told you need new mounting holes. Only reason I did not go with this wing and paid the premium for the Nismo.

EVOR 08-14-2014 08:30 PM

I have our high wing on my 2009 Nismo 370Z. It uses original mounting hole. If you have touring or stock rear spoiler, you will need new mounting holes.

Yes, I have touring... Though I have been told the OEM Nismo bolts right up to OEM Touring spoiler holes.

The OEM Sport and OEM Nismo use the same holes. The Nismo S-Tune uses different holes. If the High Wing uses the OEM holes...it's a win all around :hello:

Malm 08-15-2014 05:49 PM

how long is it a wait for a cf highwing painted (k23) before it is shipped? It shows out of stock.

This is what's driving my crazy. I am about 95% positive that the OEM Nismo wing and the OEM Sport wing use the same holes. Other forum members have switched those out without drilling. However, EVOR is saying that the High Wing uses OEM Nismo holes, but does not use OEM sport wing holes. Can someone please confirm or deny whether the high wing will use the OEM sport wing holes?

CF top still out. 2 here, but are for pre order customers.

I can only confirm on my original Nismo. I see if I have photo of my yellow sport that I put on our highwing.

It uses the OEM sport wing holes. Two of the holes that it uses (1 on each side) are square holes for the sport wing clips to snap into. The square holes only go thru the top side of the hatch so you have to drill holes on the underside of the hatch for the bolts to go thru. Its very easy to do since you already have the top holes to show where to drill.

Yep, after re-reading the whole thread, it clearly uses some, but not all of the factory holes. So, it seems like some people have used just those two holes plus tape, and others have drilled out new holes for the outer two mounting points. Thanks for the clarification!

blackbird 08-18-2014 11:52 AM

Plus if you have had the old NISMO wing, you have holes you have to fill in on an aluminum deck. (or buy a new rear deck, which I did).

Aviator44 04-06-2015 07:36 PM

Bringing this back from the dead.

Has anyone speed tested this wing? I'm curious if it will withstand speeds of 180 mph+

EVOR 04-09-2015 05:17 AM

I did at 256KPH 160MPH

steve216 04-09-2015 11:50 PM

when will this be available again for sale?
