Should only cost like $200 to paint it. Any good body shop will be able to do it.

TJ, I still owe you some close up shots of the under side of the wing. Ill get to it tonight if i have time.

Also the body shop i just went to said they had to fill gaps and blems and flush the seams to make it look perfect.

They said because i was a return customer that they would give me the hook up price. So i was abit shocked when they said $446.76

Body Labor 2.5 hrs at 48/hr = $120
Paint labor 4.0 hrs at 48/hr = $192
Paint supplies 4.0 hrs at 24/hr = $96

Now they said the hook up was the free clear coat and spot touching a few rock chips..

I guess i should look around, but these guys are pretty good.

You should have them paint and prep it and install it yourself. It should be fairly easy. Remove the old one and slap this one on.

removing the stock wing is a Pain in the Butt

Verbal21 03-22-2012 09:44 PM

These come with a template though, right? I don't have any stock wing or any sorts and would have to make the holes myself which I'm very nervous about

Better pics

Just took a few more pics today which should be better quality. My previous pics were taken on a very gray day. More can be seen in my album.

Drop + spacers + headlights made a HUGE difference in the fit of your wing.. may sound weird but.. Looks great man!

Curious who did your headlights?

No camber arms or bolts... I'm running about 1.3 degrees of camber in the front and about 3 degrees in the rear, the stock camber bolts in the rear actually have a good amount of adjustability on them (won't go stock specs, but I probably couldn't do that anyways with the aggressiveness of the rear wheel.

Varstoen weigh around 28-29 pounds a wheel for 19X10.5
Vs.
Volk TE37 weigh around 21 pounds for a 19X10.5

Fishing line and patience. It's the tape that's a pain.. They you have to lift up the wing and maybe break some clips

Sometimes people use that to get the sticky stuff to come apart. used a lot with removed badges, heat it up, then shimmy the fishing line behind it back n forth.
