These come with a template though, right? I don't have any stock wing or any sorts and would have to make the holes myself which I'm very nervous about

Better pics

Just took a few more pics today which should be better quality. My previous pics were taken on a very gray day. More can be seen in my album.

Drop + spacers + headlights made a HUGE difference in the fit of your wing.. may sound weird but.. Looks great man!

Curious who did your headlights?

No camber arms or bolts... I'm running about 1.3 degrees of camber in the front and about 3 degrees in the rear, the stock camber bolts in the rear actually have a good amount of adjustability on them (won't go stock specs, but I probably couldn't do that anyways with the aggressiveness of the rear wheel.

Varstoen weigh around 28-29 pounds a wheel for 19X10.5
Vs.
Volk TE37 weigh around 21 pounds for a 19X10.5

Fishing line and patience. It's the tape that's a pain.. They you have to lift up the wing and maybe break some clips

Sometimes people use that to get the sticky stuff to come apart. used a lot with removed badges, heat it up, then shimmy the fishing line behind it back n forth.

That is a great price. I was quoted $600 here in Tacoma. Depending on how yours turns out I might take mine to them too. They in Seattle?

UNKNOWN_370 03-26-2012 04:09 PM

Damn. My wife was convincing me to get the amuse spoiler. But now that I see this one on the red, I'm torn... the blue on just needs the drop. The red and black makes the Red one stand out more. If the blue was done identical to the red then people would like the blue just as much.

I like the amuse cuz its much more rare. But the OEM look is hot too. Decisions decisions.

Ahhhh i get it..

TJ, They are in mukilteo, and did my front end when i hit a boat.. dont ask :icon17:

I saw a lotus and a few other nice cars there when i first did work with them. Overall i like thier work but they did say it would have been $600+ if i walked in off the street.

But because i was a previous customer they would lower the price and fix a few rock chips up around the car.

As an update I have contacted The Z Store, and they are shipping me the bolts and tape now. Ill set my appointment for install once that arrives. On a side note my car is finally getting tuned at Intec Racing saturday after the next. And ill be setting my appt. for install of my Quaife ATB 1.5 way dif as well.

TypeOne 03-28-2012 04:28 PM

Man that looks good.

I want this, but is it still hard to get them?

Couldnt have been easier for me. I called the Z store it was in stock and shipped in less than a week.

I guessing this thread possibly helped the last few wings fly out of the nest :icon17:

Verbal21 03-28-2012 06:31 PM

When was that? I called last Thursday and that's when I was told it was on BO

Damn.. can't wait to order mine! Love this spoiler.

Romulus1 03-29-2012 02:11 AM

Got mine fast too, I didn't even contact them I just ordered. Got an email the next day saying they're in stock and my order is set to process and ship with in 24 hours. Got the wing in 4 or 5 days. Already dropped it at my body shop to get painted and then the car goes in next week for the install! (along with a new sub amp and rear speakers, same place does the audio for me) Can't wait!

tjlazer 03-29-2012 11:52 AM

There is one wing left at TheZStore. Ordered mine today and he said there is one more left!

LakeShow 03-29-2012 12:32 PM

Got mine yesterday and I can't wait to get it installed but I can't until I get the EVO-R lip kit in

TypeOne 04-04-2012 11:12 AM

If the spoiler that I have coming in today doesn't work out, I might sell it and get this one.

I believe they are varrstoens or however it's spelled. Could be wrong though, but the wheels look like an "exact" perfect fit, curious about specs on the wheels and alignment.

And I agree, the car looks extremely clean, nothing out of place, nothing too overly done. For myself, the exterior is just right.

Which front lip is that. Loove your car. Had a choice between gun metallic and red. I took gun metallic. In 3 years,is is the first red car that has made me think about my choice. Lol. Man add clear JDM tails and this **** will be spank.

Agreed!

My Z is in the shop and prepping for the install. I am installing the EVO wing and rear OEM splash guards.

Also i am painting my fangs black. Took a huge rock to my fang area and needs re-paint anyways. Should be ready friday, pics Saturday at the Boeing 787 Engineering car show :icon17:

tjlazer 04-17-2012 06:53 PM

Mine gets installed tomorrow :P

I decided to just have them install it for $80 which isn't bad.
