yea, can't clear coat a wrap. I was unable to find any carbon fiber roof replacements. I didn't want to add weight to the car with an overlay.

Why not? I had a shop here in town offer to clear coat a matt finished CF wrap just like yours to make it shiny enough to match my Evo-R pieces. I didn't do it, opted to put the money elsewhere.

I think you can clear coat it, you just can't take it off once it's clear coated. It's then permenant, just like paint.

Something to think about. I was under the assumption that the clear coat would conflict with the adhesive once it dried.
