it is pretty simple, the bike weighs like 25 lbs, maxed out with water bottles (my MTB, 09 Stumpy 29er expert, full carbon). Once you preset the skewer ya jus gotta get the fork into the mount and close it.

its all about contact points when you lift the bike. One hand on the down tube, one on the fork, set in place and lock it down, then move to the back tire.....

no issues with cups denting my roof.... but I'm not tugging on it either.... i use it as it is designed with no issues.

The Boofsquire style rack I made supplemented with two Seasuckers.

I only used it once on the 350Z but have to modify it to work on the 370.

Why is this annoying to see? Fat people are an annoying trend to see. Most Americans are too lazy to even throw a leg over a bicycle and it shows. Some people have other hobbies and some even value fitness over their BS consumer products and obsessive car hobby. If you don't enjoy biking, you won't understand why people attach bike racks. If it bothers you that much, contact DOT or call out the car owners face-to-face.

Never thought about doing this. Definitely makes it more secure. I sold my Boofsquire rack to buy a SeaSucker Talon
