I finally finished installing it today. I just want to tell you guys that you shouldn't bother with the camera. The viewing angle is awful as it isn't wide, the resolution is suspect at best, especially at night. Yes it is cheap, but I am not sure if it is worth the labor and time to install it. So do it at your own risk, just don't have high hopes for it.
The lines on it did work as the red dot is the farthest you can go without hitting stuff. I wired mine so it turns on with the engine, but with an interrupter switch so I can override it to turn it off manually in the trunk. |
