Stripes on z is a negative! Ruins everything about it. You want stripes get a camaro or mustang

It's all a matter of preference so it's really up to you. Vinyl would be the way to go if I was doing it because it minimizes the problems if you change your mind after you are done.

The stripes that caught my eye are the double slash stripes on the front fender that were sometimes used on the Cobras, Grand Sport Vetts and BRE 240z's. They were used to help the pit crews identify the different team cars as the cars sped past the pits during a race. I kind of like the historic and functional aspect combined with the sense of purpose that they impart.

A guy with different colored rims on either side of the car, and you're calling him out?

Whatever happened to originality?

Let the person do what he wants. if ya disagree be nice about it.

I think stripes on the hood look great. Mine would have liked mine a bit closer together though.

Why do you have a 350Z emblem on your 370Z? :ugh2:

TongMan 02-26-2012 10:41 PM

Just giving him a suggestion. Flames will go well with racing stripes.

I noticed that too but I wanted to say on topic for once.

I only bring it up because it bears relevance. Lots of 350's had stripes and were considered 'rice'... :ugh2:

The vinyl good idea. I really do like the look of the GT side stripes. If I do go with stripes It would probably be like the pictured 350. The stripes would taper with the hood ridges.

Exactly my thoughts.. IMO Stripes on the Z is like those black Censor boxes that media puts on naked chicks :inoutroflpuke:. They doesn't let people admire the beauty of our Z's body.

I respect any opinion about the stripes, if you reaaally want them go ahead.;)
