Will have.

xDIEGOx 12-12-2008 09:03 PM

Why does everything nismo have to be so damn expensive. :(

diskreet 12-12-2008 09:09 PM

I don't understand when manufacturers started thinking that floor mats were the kind of item we wanted to pay extra for? Make them standard and make the car cost $20 more.

shumby 12-12-2008 09:11 PM

I want to say who in their right mind would spend that on floor mats but then i am like .........oh ...............ya.....................me. lol

LiquidZ 12-22-2008 11:02 PM

I'm assuming that the inserts are made out of a more durable material that is more resistant to wear from shifting, etc.

I definitely like these.

jetnoirZ 12-23-2008 11:44 AM

WTF? expensive factory parts FTL. I got my nismo mats for my Z for 35 dollars

nogoodname 12-23-2008 11:48 AM

they are not even those durable rubber floor mats....... but 300 is alot

i got rubber mats for my G at 40 bucks CDN

nogoodname 12-23-2008 11:53 AM

what about these...lol...Central 20 mats

Price

:werd: me neither.

nogoodname 12-23-2008 02:39 PM

^^ well, central 20 gave it a shot and missed

shumby 12-23-2008 03:20 PM

Not feeling them.

sensi09 12-23-2008 03:36 PM

If the Nismo mats are similar to the 350Z, they will be flimsy and cheaply made. Much more thick and durable mats in the general aftermarket.

A for effort, but they look like :icon23:
I'm sure there will be plenty more options in the future though, not worried.

nogoodname 12-23-2008 03:54 PM

isnt there that WeatherTech brand...i always see it in magazines

shumby 12-23-2008 04:00 PM

^^^ Ya they make good stuff had them in my work truck. I am thinking about getting them for the G. But it will be like 300 bones.

nogoodname 12-23-2008 04:04 PM

shumby 12-23-2008 04:09 PM

and people still find it shocking that dealerships are going under... who the @%@^ would pay 1200usd for something made overseas for about 15$ just because it has 50c worth of extra thread in the form of GTR

dlmartin81 01-15-2009 06:19 PM

I would like to see a set of honey-comb all weather floor mats like my wife's 07 GTI. Those are one of the best looking, practical mats.

What do you guys think?

OMGWTFBBQ 01-16-2009 02:31 AM

I'd assume a lot of dirt and junk in general would get stuck in that honeycomb mat.

I have the WeatherTech floor liners in my current car and they seem to work fine for me. They might not be the best looking, but they do their job, which is keeping my carpet clean. My only gripe, however, is that the price tag is pretty steep on those floor liners.

JoeyD 01-16-2009 02:15 PM

I was just riding in my buddies GTI and I love those mats. They will never wear out. They look good. And yes you are right they do catch a bunch of grass, sand and dirt...that's the point though isn't it. I would jump all over mats like these with a nice big 370Z molded in.

frost 01-16-2009 04:54 PM

I had a set of those honeycomb mats, I remember them being very cheap, and the lettering never faded like with cloth mats. Simply, they rocked.

Well I guess it all depends on one's life style but I don't walk in dirt/mud/gravel too often so I don't get a lot of junk in the honeycomb areas. But I do know what you're talking about. The good thing about them though is that they are super easy to clean. If it does collect a lot of debris all you got to do is remove them from the car and give them a good sake and perhaps a couple of pats and you're good to go. At least that has been our experience.
