Default Custom "A" pillar gauge pods

I didn't like the smooth look so I added a textured coating it looks alot better, sanded textured finish with 400 grit sandpaper and refinished with satin black these things look, feel like oem, first 2 pics

Since I ordered my GTM supercharger I needed to get a couple of gauges (boost,A/F ratio)but I really couldn't find any where to put them.
I looked to see if they made a gauge pod for the 370z but they don't,so after taking the "A" pillar trim off to see where the curtain air bag was I found the end of it toward the top which is basically just the charge that sets them off,so I bought a dual pod "A" pillar cover for a 350z and proceeded to cut it apart and try to fit the gauges as far down the pillar as possible(so as not intrude with the air bag operation)after finding the location for the bottom one I 2 part epoxies it in then fit the top on as close as possible, then after some body work to both left and right pillar covers I primed them sanded them down with 400 grit sand paper and painted them satin black.
Finally installed a Innovate Motor sports A/F gauge ,Defi Boost /vacuum gauge It came out good here are some pics.

NICE WORK! How's the fit? Snug and all?

I love the Innovate equipment. Have an LC-1 in my supercharged Challenger but tied it to an Aeroforce Interceptor gauge that reads all the other stuff from the OBDII.

Curious why you added a wide band to the exhaust when the Z can read AFR from the stock wideband sensors?

Looks good man!

I had to have a boost gauge anyway plus Innovate Motorsports gauges are real good.

One thing you guys can look in to.

Buy a spare pillar cover from Nissan and graft on some gauge pods then cover it with synthetic suede or cloth to match the rest of the car. You can the cover the passenger pillar in the same material to match.

All you'd have to do is trim some of the universal pod material for a fit, then JB Weld in place and cover with material. That's how the one in my Challenger is setup and it looks stock.

I was going to cover mine with some material but decided to paint it satin black in person it shines but not as much as in the photos.
