Im not exactly sure if OMP seats are good, ive seen pics of Zs that get traked with them so im guessing they are safe and somewhat inexpensive too.

There is a thread with everyone's aftermarket seats if someone can post the link it may give you an idea of what seats are good seats for te z as well as people's thoughts on their seats.

These are the covers I'm ordering for my S2k:

They look factory.

Wow those look SICK for that price. Thanks man.

I'll have to call them though. Some of their pictures have touring seats and they also have a base seat as well. If they can't make a cover for a NISMO then I can't do it.

Houston - there are a number of upholsterers in town. Do a Google search, and then go visit their shops for a quote.

This a project you want a professional to do for you. I've had leather covers in two cars, and you could not tell they weren't OEM. The pros know how to fit them properly.

You've got an expensive car; spend a little more to get the quality it deserves and you expect.

Thanks but it not only looks like a low-down place (in my opinion) but they also don't have the 370 listed, let alone the Nismo, and they apparently use Katzkin which is WAY overpriced I learned.

Gonna call the leatherseats.com place tomorrow and see if they can make a cover for Nismo seats.

synack why do you want leather seats so bad? they wont hold you as well as the carpet ones. also leather covers on factory seats looks like crap. yea some people on here have done it but you can tell its not OEM, i dont care what anyone says.

also be ready to spend some money on quality seats. the nismo seats arnt horrible, and are prob WAY more comfy than MOST aftermarket seats.

also stop looking at ebay for car stuff... :\

Lol thanks man. I'm just an eBay addict so naturally I look there first.

I just like leather so much more than cloth and the styling of this Nismo's aren't even good. If they even thought of a design to implement on these seats for 2 seconds they could have a decent looking pair, and I would be alright with cloth. But since I'm upgrading, I might as well go all the way or not at all. Still debating between aftermarket seats and reskinning the Nismo's. Thanks for the input.

Stay away from knock-off or cheap seats!! There have been quite a few reported cases of cheapo seats failing in accidents and causing serious injury.

All of this. If you want bucket seats, take a look at OMP. They're very affordable. I would NEVER trust a seat that wasn't made by a company that had at least one FIA certified seat.

OMP has major bang for relatively little bucks. They make all kinds of safety gear and seats for some of the top race teams in Europe. Great stuff.

But the big question is..... do they come in leather and a color other than black? :tiphat:

these are my clazzio seat covers... id say its a bang for the buck.... its not real leather only the insert thats preforated in the center is real leather.... i would say 90% of people who look at my z cant tell they are seat covers.... the other good thing about these seat covers... when your air bag deploys... the seat covers rip like what they are suppose to do so the air bag dont go somewhere else and punch you in the ribs or something like that.... ive had them for more than a year now.... and they are holding up pretty good no tears or wear showing YET... if they do rip then ill order another pair...
