this is a well-known issue w/ Evo-R. the guy who runs it doesn't offer any sort of customer service at all. he makes a quality product, but that only gets you so far. i would recommend buying from a third-party site if you want one of the products he makes.

The Z Store sells Evo-R products. Welcome To The Z Store! Nissan-Datsun 240Z-260Z-280Z-280ZX-300ZX(Z31/Z32)-350Z-370Z Parts!

I'll try to contact the z store to know if the products are available.

I've ordered the front lip from evo-r twice, and never had any issues. Shipped it in 3 days both times.

I've ordered my Diffuser and Side skirts from him. They arrived in less than a week. I do usually ask if he has the item in stock before payment.

Cafiax 02-16-2012 08:34 PM

i emailed him/PMed him regarding his products but no reply. Now im going shine auto, guess having bad customer service cost you some money evoR :(

It's been more than 8 week and am waiting for the order. I didn't get an email that says the items that you need is out of stock. And I try to email and call them and no one answer. I place my order in 1/9/2012.

I understand your situation. I bought the EvoR fog light and it had burnt LEDs and it took 3 months for him to get back to me and get a replacement. Idk they make good products although the customer service is quite frustrating.

Just remember not everyone is a multi-billion dollar company selling for $500 a share.

LakeShow 02-17-2012 08:06 PM

^^doesnt mean you shouldn't hear from the seller after you send someone x amount of cash and don't get a PM, phone call, email, etc for weeks leaving you in the dark.

Probably the most pointless and irrelevant argument for providing bad service that I have ever heard. This is a question of contact and business practices, not of their market cap.

Exactly. Non communication and over-promising is total B.S. Don't tell me these guys aren't on FB or e mail every day. They choose to ignore PM's and e mails because they can't answer the simple question of when.

They really don't understand customer service, and that's why they aren't around long. If we weren't such mod whores willing to tolerate this level of service, they'd be gone in a month.

I've worked for sub-million dollar companies and multi-billion dollar companies and every one of them understood the importance of communication. My son provided better customer service selling popcorn for the Boy Scouts than some of these vendors.

Tell me up front the wait time is three months; don't say it will ship one week after receiving payment. That borders on fraud.

CarbonSignal is one vendor I'll say does it the right way. A.J. tells me up front to expect X number of weeks to make a part and what it costs. It may be Y weeks, but at least he lets me know if something will be delayed. Again, it's all about reasonable communication.
