Front Licence Plate Idea For Mounting It
I saw this on another forum.....it's just too good of an idea...so i thought i'd share it.
It's a retractable plate frame.....very neat idea. pics: http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/l...ipPlate031.jpg http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/l...ipPlate030.jpg http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/l...ipPlate029.jpg and an animation of it: http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/l...54-6d5d-91.gif this guy's plate is manually operated, but another guy has a electric motor that does it. so, anybody gonna try and see if they can make one similar.. |
Can you imagine a cop's face after he pulls you over, for no front plate, and then walks to the front of the car!:bowrofl:
|
Here's a video of the electric one
it's called "Show N' GO" & Altec is the brand. apparently it comes in a kit, just install it, but i guess you gotta cut a small hole in the grille.... |
Can you say Bond, James Bond
|

Anyways, I wish someone would invent adjustable window tints. Soon as I get pulled over, up goes my license plate along with lowering my tint shade. :D |
I love this gadget, I am going to buy it!!
|
^ i think they have snowboarding googles that can adjust tint with the touch of a button >.>
|
nah, no scratches from what i heard.
the guy did get pulled over and he flipped the licence plate up...the officer did not give him a ticket...he actually asked where did he get it for his own car...hahahah |
Yeah I ordered this guy a few days ago, should be here early next week. I hope to get installed next weekend. I'll keep you all updated!

Moss Motors in Goleta Calif offers them (motorized and manual) for Miatas. Shouldn't be too hard to adapt to a 370Z if an application-specific version is not out there.
