I'm thinking of taking my spare wheel and other stuff in the car away to save some weight, but the shape of the rear is kind of wired, it's hard to cover it up. I wonder what do you guys do with that?

If you're trying to save weight for running at the track, why don't you just take the tire out when you go to the track and leave it in the rest of the time?
As many flat tires as I've gotten, I would hate to not have a spare. |

The spare isn't heavy enough to bother... You should keep that in a street driven car and also do not forget to keep at least 5 stock lug nuts back there too because the nuts holding on your aftermarket wheels will not work with the stock spare... I remembered that a couple months ago when I had a flat and had to call someone to grab my stock lugs from my house
