2013 Bumper

Will the 2013 bumper fit on the previous 370z's?

In b4 the haters...

Since its not yet out its hard to say. But seeing that they didnt change anything else on the body I would think it should.

Yeah, seems like it would. The bigger question is the wiring for the LEDs.

are you actually asking sneekily and going to put the old front on the new car? :P

wonder if anyone will make new lips and stuff for the new front bumper.. would look interesting.

LakeShow 02-14-2012 09:26 PM

I'm very interested also. I like those LED's. Only if we could just install LED's fabricated into our current bumpers.

EVOR 02-14-2012 10:53 PM

I think it should fit. Love the new look.

UNKNOWN_370 02-15-2012 12:34 AM

I'm interested in the new front too... but not for the novelty of cool lights. It just looks like you pull off those lights and you may have a brake cooling path???? That's what's intriguing me.

Waiz 02-15-2012 01:20 AM

Probably, but it won't be cheap to source one for awhile.

You should just go aftermarket if you want a change

Jordo! 02-15-2012 03:57 PM

I'd wait until they come out and see if someone wants to do a swap -- I'm sure just as some folks will own the old version and like the new, others will buy the new but prefer the old.

New bumper should DIAF

SPOHN 02-15-2012 07:43 PM

Speaking of such. If you replaced the front clip on the 2013 model you will never know that it a 2013. So after that there's nothing really unique about it. Besides the color change if you go that route.

:iagree: along with the sideways looking rims.

Not too sure about the new bumper. Maybe it will grow on me?

ZoroItaliano 02-17-2012 12:46 AM

i like the new bumper as well .... it has a bit more character and it also fits with all the other cars on the road....audi, lexus, vw, mercedese, porsche, ect.....(they all have LED's)

I wonder id they will make it fit the older model I would definitely pick it up

sfearl1 02-17-2012 01:32 AM

Why would you want your Z to fit in with all the other cars on the road?? IMO, the bumper that fits in with every other car = no character.

Kingbaby 02-17-2012 03:58 AM

Yea kind like following a trend...

fuct 02-17-2012 09:03 AM

i think we all have the hookups for the LEDS already. dont yall remember the factory LED lights from nissan. the ones for like a grand.... i bet the new bumper lights plug into the same harness used by those overpriced nissan LEDs.

oh dude trust me ....the z is unique enough.

Perhaps I used the wrong terminology. LED lighting to me is newer technology. I think that is why I like the new bumper. Its almost like comparing Halogen lights to HID lights, of course Id rather have HID's

2013 bumper and wheels::barf::barf::barf:

tjlazer 02-18-2012 12:27 PM

I am positive it will fit. And to those that say don't do it? And why not? If you messed up your front bumper, and you like it, then go for it! If you don't like it, then don't. Pretty simple to me.

I have a 1990 300ZX and when the front fascia got cracked and damaged, I installed a 1999 JSpec bumper on it. It fits, and looks great. ;)
