taillight squeeking

I believe I either overtighten or did something funky to the rear taillight. Now when I touch it, it would make a squeeky noise. Anyone know what that might be?

Default taillight squeeking

I believe I either overtighten or did something funky to the rear taillight. Now when I touch it, it would make a squeeky noise. Anyone know what that might be? It's so bad that if i touch the rear bumper, the bumper will touch the taillight and create a squeek

I can tell you that when I wash my car I notice squeaking under pressure from a few different areas. More pronounced when it is colder, too. Do you notice any movement from the light assembly when it squeaks? If not, I wouldn't worry about it.

I had the same squeaks on my 370 as well. it never really bothered me, it only squeaked when I washed the car and would apply pressure to the rear bumper with the towel.

I guess all this adds to the odd noise in the rear of the car.

The car has some squeaks. But now that mine has been rear ended and "FIXED" it squeaks 3-4 times as louds and from the tail lights touching the bumper cover.

I had the same problem and realized that the rear bumper actually touches the light. I was able to put a little piece of foam where it was touching and the squeek is gone.
