Has anybody had any experience, positive or negative, with painting their calipers? I would eventually like to paint mine but want to know what others have to say.

Been done tons of times, you can search for "Calipers" in the Brakes/suspension section and several will popup.
I would not recommend doing it unless you have the Sport calipers though, it looks ricey on the Base calipers IMO |

Yeah, nothing but a thing.... I painted mine yellow on a grey 350z once it was nice... some people didn't like it. I was imatating Porsche 911 Turbo GT calipers.
Dang... I miss my 350Z... It was nice for what it was... I've have to do another. I didn't think it was over the top. 1 hour with caliper paint and your done. I still like it..... Sharp cheap and fun mod !!! This time... one my silver.... I think I'll leave it factory silver.... looks nice. I think it would take away from these rims.... What do you guys say? Painting Calipers can be tricky if you leave them on the car. The risk of missing areas and increasing tackiness. Plus the fact that depending on heat/grit/water it will eventually start to come off.
You're much better off going the route of Powder Coating. It's simple to have done and not too expensive either. It will look much better and last a lot longer as well.

Thinking about trying this too. Going to have to pull the calipers off to swap brake pads and fluid so I thought I might as well paint them while they're off.
