so I was looking on ebay last night for some Brides, as I am searching for some seats for my Z I see that there is Brides from Canada, what is the deal with this? what is the difference between this and the Japan ones.. other then price?

They are knock offs.

Ok what about quality, build, physical differences? for the price is not a bad deal if they are well built

They do not have the certifications like Bride does nor have been through the same testing and R&D work.
Basically a company was able to get the 'Bride' legally and register the brand in other countries and just copied the design of the seats, but not anything else.

If you have a death wish, then yes. Most of the fake seats are produced extremely cheaply in China. The knock-off seats are known to, for lack of a better word, fall apart. The seats can snap in half in an accident; all kinds of crazy **** has happened.

Correct, 'not bad for a DD' means do not buy at all.
There are a few things in a car which are engineered and designed for your safety and seats are at the top of this list. Do not take the risk with your life by buying knock off seats.

Buy seats from only Bride (Tee's USA) authorized retailers. There are SO many fakes out there.

Don't ever cheap out on seats. Ever. In an accident, you will pay for the few dollars you saved in spades.

If REAL Bride seats are out of your price range, check out OMP seats or even some of the more affordable Sparcos/Recaros. Corbeau also makes affordable seats.

What's your budget?

that was my original question, if the fake are not made as strong as the orginals... I might look into getting the Recaros from an EVO X.. I love and miss those seats
