Yes it was designed to look like that, kind of like the S2K spoon fenders.

The fenders are complete as they are in the picture. This design pulls from a common racing aerodynamic principal which reduces under car air pressure to create downforce. Companies all over the world use this style design including spoon, j's racing and etc... My concept was was to take this principal while maintaining a flowing look.

I see, call me ignorant but it looked like an incomplete job to me. I think a completed arch all the way down would've looked a lot more aggressive and satisfied the look you're going for. You then might've added a fender vent if you're very concerned with downforce.

Just my opinion of course :) Love everything else you've done on that monster
