What would you do?
Alright, I think I finally have the route I want to go with my pearl white Z. I've been debating between mixing a couple carbon fiber pieces in or just going the FRP route. I was going to go CF, but the only rims I like that I feel like would compliment the entire look are the WORK VS-XX (which is out of my ballpark) in the charcoal color. So, I've looked at cheaper options and I'm debating what would look best, overall, with my car: Fully polished or matte black?
I've always done my cars "clean" and I don't plan on changing that here. I want to do the Sunline lip kit (painted, while leaving the fang part black). I intend on painting the door handles to match and getting my headlights done to also match PW, but with that little bit of shine gone, do you still think the polished would look better than the black? I'd say black, straight up (because I'm leaning towards the "panda" route) but I'm afraid of that entire donut look. Just one huge, black circle. Although, with a red caliper, maybe that'd break it up nicely? Sorry for the novel. Any input is appreciated.

Go with your gut. Save and get what you really want if you feel you are settling. I prefer shiny on a white car, but contrast is also a really nice look.

It's not so much that I'm "settling" because with me being in college, etc. (I'm only 22) I just kind of accepted I can't be/don't want to be spending 4K on Work rims when I can buy like 7 different parts (lip kit, rear diffuser, fog light, etc.) all for that price. There's just something about the black that makes me feel like pearl white won't look right. Matte black, in my opinion, would look best on a flat white. I'm just hoping if I went polished I didn't regret my decision. Nothing worse than buyer's remorse.

if you go white car with black rims, you really need to add other parts to the car black as well, to give the contrast, pure white car with just black wheels doesn't look as good, you'd need to black out all your silver bits if you went black wheels to keep it clean looking.

When I say polished, I mean full polished (the entire rim, not just the lip).

lol, you aren't getting what I'm saying. I was saying if I got an matte black rim (the entire rim being matte black), I'd be afraid of that huge donut look because the tire is black (obviously). You have a little separation because you have that chrome lip edge so it breaks it up nicer, plus it's gloss. It's clearly not dull like matte.
I'm thinking black chrome now. Best of both worlds?

Can anyone help me with offsets (I'm horrid with them). I know +12 is pretty flush for the fronts (or so I've read) but what about the rear? The black chrome set I'm looking at has +12 both ways for a 19x9.5 in the front and 19x10.5 in the back.
You guys are the best!
