Question about DRLs
I'm currently looking into installing LED DRLs.
Can anyone give me links to some nice ones? Thanks a lot! Happy New Year! |
all the ones ive seen look like they were bought from ebay or pepboys or some crap.
|
Personally I don't think they flow with our cars because of the rapid sloping of the headlights... they work in the Audi's because they are more horizontal.
|
yah, plus those LED stripes imho are as ugly as altezza tails back in the early 90's... :icon14: (not talking about the landing strips).
|
The only ones that I feel are viable (without some sort of aftermarket bumper and bodywork) are the NISSAN DRLs. Problem is, you have to find a good way to mount them. I think I remember seeing a thread where someone did it, but you may find it with a forum search.....

Here:
Nissan LED Daytime Running Lamps - 370Z :: Nissan Parts, NISMO and Nissan Accessories - Courtesyparts.com http://www.courtesyparts.com/images/...66M0-Z34DT.pdf Don't bother with the LED strips, they look like christmas lights and downright tacky. |
^^^ OEM ones are kinda fugly looking...
I've seen some guys with S2000s use these: http://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php...age&img=440070 http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i13/5power/20000.jpg |
Like I said, a lot tend to look like Christmas lights. I'd personally just skip drl's altogether and spend the money on something else.
