I want to paint the engine cover on my car, along with the battery/brake covers but they're all plastic. So what can I paint them with that will hold up

What to paint engine cover with??
I want to paint the engine cover on my car, along with the battery/brake covers but they're all plastic. So what can I paint them with that will hold up to the heat? Or how can I prep the plastic to work with some kind of engine enamel?
