How much is it to paint a car?

That's the cheaper route, but I think you'll regret it later. Every time you open your door, hood, or trunk you'll see the white. A good paint job including jambs

If you can do it yourself, wrap, then it will save you a good bit of money but a professional wrap done properly is 3-4k plus vinyl can scratch easy.
I would say stick with the color of your car now, just painting those few pieces should not break the bank and in a few years if you want a color change go all out. Drop the motor, door areas, etc.
