Hey guys,
This winter I want to put in some Dynamat to the trunk because i get some rattles that are going to drive me crazy! I see there are a few different types to get, any suggestions or will they all work the same?

I used 37.5 sq ft of RAAMmat BXT II, it only cost about 100$ shipped and it was enough to cover beneath all carpets and also full hatch area. I was quite liberal with it and went over certain areas twice, or else I probably would have had enough to do the doors also. It was a noticeable difference once installed!

Really? The roller tool is a necessity?? i figured it would just stick easily just by placing it down... Ive never had an experience with Dynamat or the like before..

DEFINETLY get the roller tool. the ones with the hard rubber roller and metal/wooden handle is the one i use. dynamat is pretty thick stuff and if you have air bubbles the dampening performance drops considerably.

There's a product sold at Home Depot and Lowes thats the exact same thing, but a lot cheaper. It's called Peel n Seal. I used it on a build, and it worked well.
Oh and use a heat gun to make it easier to work with if you plan on installing it while it's cold. Even in the summer it can help.

A bit late, but I used FatMat in my Old GST and it helped. Even though the material isn't as thick as DynaMat, it made a big difderence. Got 100sq ft for about 120 shipped.it's a cheaper option and you would have more material to work with.
+1 for the heat gun too.
