Yes I didn't know they made them out of any other material and I found mine in eBay for about $45 shipped to me. I thought it was a good deal.
|
id buy one if they were $75...but, 150 is far too much.

No offense to anyone, but what's the deal with tow hooks? They seem to be the new JDM thing to do these days and I missed the memo, big time. Are they functional? Or is it just an aesthetic thing?

Looks very nice. Does anyone have blacked out fangs and the hook?

I have a cf front lip.

Noob question here. I'll probably get laughed at... but..
Any tips on how to remove the cover to screw in my tow hook? Lol |

I think you can call it is more of a style thing, sure, but calling it JDM is just stupid. It has nothing to do with Japan or the parts they sell in Japan. Is a tow hook functional? Have you tried to pull or tow your car from any other area? How well did that work? |
i actually did that LOL i put on my stock tow hook for a show recently lol
|
You know if you get in a minor fender-bender, any installed tow-hook could end up stabbing the other car and causing more damage than necc. Just food for thought. At least the aftermarket flip-down ones aren't as bad about that as the stock one, but it could still happen. I leave mine off most of the time and just screw it in for the track.

great color :).
