Frost/Gray, does it age well? Hard to maintain?

I am going with a white car and liked the gray interior on it. I havent seen white on black in person but the white on gray made me choose it over a black exterior (black vs white exterior, a hard decision, i still think about it at times:shakes head:) Anyway, i hear the frost gray doesn't age well? Is that true or do I just need to take proper care of it? Is it a pain in the neck to maintain such an interior? Who here has owned a 350z or 370z with a frost interior? How does it hold up? Hard to keep clean? any help will be appreciated.

i had grey leather in my 97' jeep, and i can tell you that it definitely DOES NOT age well... having said that, i wasn't deterred from ordering the frost interior because from the pics i've seen, it looked very light (almost white)...

that was until i saw the frost interior in person. it looked like a very bland grey and took away from the "clean" look of the white imo, and i was on the phone to my dealer 5 min later to change it.

Raising this question again.

Looking at possibly picking up a White w/Grey and would like to see some more responses to this question.

Those that have had the Grey for a while, how is it wearing/resisting dirt, especially the door panel and alcantara part of the seats?

Thanks!

I liked the gray at first too but I had a F150 FX4 with light gray before my Z and the gray just show too much dirt and wear with age so I went with black.

I have the gray interior, and the seats look great, and should not be a problem to keep clean. The door panels are a different story. They are going to show dirt for certain, unless you keep after them.

I have the gray and it wasn't my first choice, but there were only 2 yellow Zs in my area and they both had it. Exterior color was more important than interior color. I had titanium gray in my Cadillac CTS and it always cleaned right up. Keep in mind that I smoke and eat in my car. The back seat of the Caddy always cleaned right up with some leather cleaner, and it would look like an ashtray before I cleaned it. I'll be interested to see how this faux suede holds up in the Z. I haven't had the car long enough to stain it.
