So what do you guys use to clean your windows on your car? Both exterior and interior? I used windex and it does the job ok. Any other suggestions?

i use stoner invisible glass, best stuff for the windows IMO, i beleive, but dont quote me on this but i think windex contains ammonia which if you have tinted windows, is not tint safe.

I used SIG for years and it works pretty well. Then I got a sample of Griot's Glass Cleaner. Wow. So much better / easier - and I'm quite honestly not a big fan of Griot's, but this stuff works. It's all I'll use on glass / mirrors. Just keep polishing / turning your MF towels until it's 100% dry and polished out.

real simple for me on this car. Griot's window cleaner (which is basically a dilluted rubbing alcohol solution with distilled water) and glass MF towel.
it's really the towel that makes the huge difference. paper towels suckarse for glass. you can use the best solution, but if your towel sucks then it's not going to work well at all. for interior same thing, but if you only have paper towels, use it dry or slighty damp with water. on my G, completely different story expecially for the rear glass. i need to use this tool called window wizard to reach the very bottom corners. i literally have to lay on my back to do the rear glass. PITA. |

Will this work on the interior of the window as well? Does it leave any type of streak marks?
I've used the water repellent stuff before and it seemed it always left some sort of film that didn't wipe out completely. Quote:

Usually I wash the car so often the windows don't get dirty but when I do I use typically an ammonia based aerosol on the outside (insides are never really dirty but I use just water and a microfiber if they are).
I agree invisible glass is good and so is the rain-x (but again I use the aerosol one). |

[QUOTE=MattP725;1414900]Usually I wash the car so often the windows don't get dirty....
I use the rain-x, 2-in-1, on the outside every time i give my baby a bath. As stated before, nothing containing ammonia on the inside... I like to keep my tints looking fresh. |

I have used the rain X window cleaner without the rain X treatment. It will be in a clear bottle.
