Anyone know who makes this bumper? I think it's sweet, and would like to buy one...

Agreed. I am so not a fan of people trying to turn there Z's into a gtr. The Z has great lines, that bumper takes all that away.

So to recap, the majority don't like the looks of the GTR style bumper... and only 2 people *might/do* know who made the bumper, which was answering my original question. Thanks.

nobody likes putting hard earned money and effort into their car just to have others hate it or laugh at it. imagine spending a couple grand on some body work and when you bring it over to show your buddy, the first thing he says is "holy crap dude that looks like ****, you ruined this car". your stomach would drop, anyone's would. luckily, a friend wouldnt say that... but nothing is stopping him from thinking it. sure, people could try and be supportive of individuality and say "if it makes YOU happy then you go for it!", but its not really fair to give such misguided support to friends. Few people are so bold as to express themselves publically in ways that they know will cause constant redicule, and the overall result will not be happiness. Of course, there are different communities that are more or less accepting of different styles... so I suppose we are all left with having to decide where we fit in best, or if we even care if we fit in at all.
sorry just thinking aloud. |

I just wanna say that I'm against making the Z look like a GTR or any other car for that matter... It's like saying "look at meee, I really wanted a GTR but couldn't get it"
For me it's right up there with putting ///M badges on a 325.. or STi badges on a WRX.. etc etc. People need to stop making their car some something its not. I say get the car that you really want from the get go even if it takes more time to save the money. Even if the amuse is being used by a lot of people, I think its a different issue. The kit was made for the car and not copying any other car out there. OP, I'm not saying you really wanted a GTR instead of the Z, I understand you like the look of it and that is it. I actually think it doesnt look too bad, its just the fact that it does not belong there.

I know lately that I have been more open minded to different types of mods and really do try to find the beauty in all things. Due to that I've actually found I enjoy our passion more. People have all sorts of personalities and they express that threw there cars and every other thing they do. I just don't like the fact that there seems to be more haters than lovers. That goes for everything in life. The haters make sure it's known and the lovers look and move on. Just stating in general
Don't get me wrong there are some things that just isn't right. But this is defiantly not one of them.
