I'll start.

These are the things I like about the 370Z interior:

a. Front glove box.
Finally Nissan put a globe box that doesn't require you to fold the passenger seat during highway driving.

b. Stylish cup holder.

c. New gauges (battery, oil pressure etc). Very unique and race car feel to them.

I don't want to list 'em all. What do you like about the new Z interior ?

1. new gauges
2. keyless ignition
3. new navigation (if chosen)
4. new cup holder

I do like the new Steering wheel and the cloth/suede material on the door panel . Is there two different kind of a/c heater knobs?

Kind of bizarre that they would change the AC/climate controls just for an upgraded cd player and a Nav system.
Looks like the base model is getting manual AC/heat, and digital with the Nav/touring.

I also would not be surprised if the Japanese/Euro vs. U.S. interiors end up being different in the final product.
heres the

J spec/ Euro T23 interior (Digital AC/Heat, and Nav)

VS.

US spec T23 (No Nav and manual AC/Heat knobs)

For me, it's the steering wheel and the gauges. In person, the gauges (and nav screen) really pop.

I really hate the temp/fuel gauge. It's just so... contrived. Shame, but I'm sure it's easy to ignore.

^ Your sarcasm detector is malfunctioning.

The 370Z interior is NICE. Hopefully it doesn't have all the rattles and easy scratchability as the 350's.

nogoodname 12-18-2008 02:27 PM

^^ hate to break it to you, but the G37 does...chances are the 370z will too

That sucks to hear.

I remember the three things that pissed me the hell off with my Z... the cubby hole door would shake and shudder when you opened it, the armrest would bounce, and the ******* interior would scratch easy as hell.

shumby 12-18-2008 02:59 PM

Unless it came w/ twin clutch and does better 1/4 time and tighter gear ratio to really really match the manual...

then why not? it would be easier to drive around town also.

nogoodname 12-18-2008 03:01 PM

Shum,

well, not on mine exactly, but many other ppl had rattles.....on the other forum

I had that awful banging noises from the engine and the exhaust rattle

This positively drives me crazy. If you fart thats instant 5 scratches somewhere on the interior. Especially where your right knee lands by the console. The door handle hand grip on the drivers side on mine looked atrocious just after a few months of ownership. Oh and the plastic silverish pieces on the steering wheel:eek: Its like it got sand blasted. I honestly dont know how it got that way. Anyway I still love my Z though I will be trading it in for a 370z soon as the opportunity arises.

3SeventyZ 12-20-2008 06:21 PM

I like the interior of the 370 over the 350 for sure.
No doubt about it in my mind.

Crash 12-26-2008 06:25 AM

BIG differences in the interior. But if it scratches up easy, I'm going to blow my top. I didn't let anyone ride in my Trans Am because the interior scratch VERY easy. My interior was nearly perfect before it was stolen. :(

I hate interiors the scratch easy. That means I'll be replacing interior parts like crazy.
