I would wetsand starting with about 600 grit and then progressively moving to 2000 grit. It will be hazy after the 2000, but then you hit with some rubbing compound

I would wetsand starting with about 600 grit and then progressively moving to 2000 grit. It will be hazy after the 2000, but then you hit with some rubbing compound and then polishing compound (I used Turtlewax brand). I did this on my 98 Prelude and it came out great. Also, I hear Opti-Coat 2.0 should provide permanent protection against UV damage.
I have headlight protection film on mine so I hope it doesn't happen to me in a few years! |

The other thing you could do is search for people that f'd up the housing trying to remove the headlights and just salvage their lens. I have seen a few posts in the past for headlights with broken mounting tabs.
