Hand brake boot/skirt

Has anyone else thought of adding a leather handbrake boot/skirt. Seems like it would be a pretty easy custom job for a pro. What do you guys think? Plus, it's

Seems like it would be a pretty easy custom job for a pro. What do you guys think? Plus, it's a b!tch to clean when dust gets in there; the boot would prevent that.
