WOW. For that $$$, you'd expect a seat to lick your balls and shaft...

Yea seriously.

Think about all the other things you could buy with $3,000 (assuming you buy both seats)

a new audio system, new intake/exhaust system, new tires n rims....

cmon IMO that **** just ain't worth it. i think they look ugly too. for 1500 i'd expect some gucci leather or some ****. But a riced-out looking ugly excuse for a seat? I'll pass!

haha, riced out? umm..right. Those seats are used in different motorsports like time attack, drifting and circuits. There's nothing rice about them they serve a purpose. They save weight because the structure is made of carbon/kevlar some of the lightest material on earth. They're all about performance not just looks. Definitely not riced-out, I think the term rice is used to loosely these days.

Bride IS a great brand. I bought some seats for my old race car around $1100 for the PAIR. Still. I'd expect more from a seat if they cost that much EACH. LoL

Oh and by no means are they "rice."

Those Bride seats look pretty cool. I am coming over to the Z world from having bimmers and agree with the earlier posters that a lot more performance can be had on other mods than seats. If you are after something unique for people entering your car to see, than those would be a great statement. For performance I would do a lot of other things first. Doing things under the hood and body and doing the seats would be killer.

Man, those seats do look good.

Surely you guys know that BRIDE makes a wide range of seats at a wide range of prices. Their Low Max reclineable series (like the one pictured) are among the more expensive of the BRIDE fleet.

I think they are extremely sexy. Never sat in a Bride before, do they have good lumbar support? Any adjustable mechanisms for lumbar?

Doesn't look like it from the pics.

not that I remember, I've sat in those before, they were waaay too tight on my legs for daily driving. I couldn't really separate my legs. Thats my biggest gripe.

I think the Bride looks awesome. But I'm not giving up the side airbags, so my stock leather seats will stay. Seems to me most of you don't care about the side airbags. To each his own I guess. (I'm a little paranoid after what happened to my 350.) But I wonder if there are insurance implications if you get into a wreck, get injured, and your injuries would have been mitigated/prevented by the side airbag. I could see the insurance company pulling some d!ck move about how you changed the crashworthiness of the vehicle, blah blah blah.

Has anyone actually installed seats yet? I autocrossed my car a few weekends ago and I had to hunch over, because with a helmet on my head hits the roof. All I would need is an extra 2-3 inchs of clearance. I am assuming that because aftermarket seats wont have all the motors and crap under them that the stockers do they will sit lower to the floor. Can anyone confirm this? I would probably opt for a cheaper seat and just swap it in before events rather than have an expensive one that would remove the airbag and be a little too restrictive.
