Suction Cup on dash?

Does anyone have a Phone/GPS mount that uses a suction cup that can attach to plastics, and if so does it work on our dashboard compartment hatch?

Not a phone or gps mount, but the gopro does use a suction cup and I coudn't get it to stick on that or the dash. I think the problem is that air gets through the small creases in the leather/fake leather and it loses suction. The best spot I found for mounting a gps when i borrowed y friend's is right beside the rearview mirror. I placed it so the screen was directly to the left of the mirror. This kept it out of my line of sight but also put it in a convenient spot since I'm constantly checking my mirrors anyways.

youll need to use that ugly metal flat disc they include in the dash mounts.

or if you have a CD player you're not using amazon sells mounts that fit in the CD player opening.

or get the pro-clip

I bought the exogear exomount which hopefully will still somewhere. I was originally planning on finding a clapping mount to grasp onto the passenger side console pad/fin thing on the right side of the center console. But I couldn't find anything that would offer a clamping mechanism.

I might end up building my own clamp mount if this exomount doesn't work.

the proclip kinda clips onto that passengers side console pad/fin thingie.

quick search pro-clip and i believe mustang and a few others tried the clip.

i use pro-clip in my G for my droidx. it's a very solid bracket and fitment is very tight/perfect. :)

*To answer my original question, no, the Exomount does not stick to the dash door. I ended up sticking it to the top of the Center dash unit and it works great.
