Today, when released hood the lane popped out of the puller. Any tips how to get lane back? Wasted almost hour trying without success

Hood release puller help please!
Today, when released hood the lane popped out of the puller. Any tips how to get lane back? Wasted almost hour trying without success

you will need to remove the lower trim piece. It is held by two screws I think and then popout the port that you plug in a dignostic machine to along with the hose and the other sensor on the right side, you will know what I mean when you see it. then once you have it out you take the wire and with the panel turned sideways pull the lever a little and you will see how it will slide into the track. once it is back in the track reinstall the ports/hoses and screw it back in.
