That is not possible. To be honest, my COST is over $1000. Are you sure you are not confused with the NISMO S-Tune Rear Spoiler and not the true NISMO rear wing? The NISMO S-Tune is around $700. We sell it for $722.50 plus shipping.

Please explain where you found this information. I just checked Nissan North America's pricing myself.

Please don't tell me you found the S-Tune wing. Sigh. No the Nismo edition wing is about $1,000 more than what you found. Yes I was able to find it online discounted with all the parts and pieces needed for around $1,700. But the dealership wants around $2,500 for it.

2010 Nissan 370Z Air Spoiler - Diagram 4 960301

I know what exactly you're talking about and I'm surprised too, but check on this...
all in 1 part too.

K6032-1A30B, they're available in multiple sites. All about $800 MSRP and now ~$700, it shows the whole diagram of all the Nismo OEM factory components with the middle piece, whatever. But if you get piece by piece separately, for some reason it's more.

scruffydog 07-19-2012 06:19 PM

weird, from your link it's just the rear top deck, but I called up a few guys and they said it's the whole assembly... =/

I called up Coutesy Nissan Parts and the guy told me there's only that p/n and it comes with everything...which I kept telling him there's gotta be more parts which should add up to about $2K.

http://www.courtesyparts.com/370z-pa...8871_8872.html

This was the link I searched and he obviously does not know what he's talking about. He said thre's only that part number K6032-1A30B

dmhenderson 07-19-2012 06:24 PM

Yeah you can't buy the nismo wing. ~2k was what I was quoted on my '09 base when I asked the dealership about it and they begged me not to do it.

Gauge 07-19-2012 06:36 PM

Seems like this wing angles down towards the car where the Nismo one doesn't. IMO the Nismo one certainly looks better. But the angle towards the car on this one might mean more downforce.

That is half of it, there is also the same part number but ends with an A.
Throw in the bolts, clips and other parts and it is around 1600ish I think. 2k is probably painted.

A good install paint shop makes how good the spoiler looks. Current highwing all comes with strong adhesive for the middle section. Please when install don't save money on paint and install. You got to pay for quality finish. After all you are saving over $1000 over real Nismo wing.

i have to concur with this, in the end i saved about $1000 over the authentic Nismo wing but i still paid a good amount for the paint and install. but like most frp its going to require some work (most of the time) on your shops part to get it to fit perfectly. When i dropped mine off, i told them there was no rush to get it finished quickly. just to take their time and they did. 2 weeks later they called to tell me it was ready for install and i couldn't be happier, no seams, no nicked or deformities what so ever and the surface is flush on the hatch. I, personally, love this wing and am extremely happy with my purchase and the overall quality and appearance of the wing. pay for quality work, its worth it

Compare stock and high wing

cooltoy 08-17-2012 04:49 PM

Does the center post have any advantage versus not having one like the Seibon (structurally, performance)? Does Seibon bow without it? Or is it just a "look" thing.

tjlazer 08-18-2012 11:52 AM

I think on the ABS plastic EVO-R High Wing the center post is needed as the wing will bow or sag without it. It's not FRP so it's not as stiff. (I compared the High Wing vs Nismo FRP replica.)

cooltoy 08-19-2012 02:43 PM

Why would the the authentic nismo wing need it? Is it polyurethane as well?

EVOR 01-01-2013 09:02 AM

In stock!

scruffydog 01-09-2013 12:38 PM

I just recently placed an order on the Carbon fiber Nismo High wing. I was told they are now FRP, both the regular version and the bottom deck for the cf version.
Can somebody clarify that?

Also, what's the middle part made out of?

chrischhorn 01-09-2013 12:52 PM

Looking through the pics, the only thing that kills it for me is how the edges turn vertically down where as the authentic Nismo turn down and out at an angle to follow the body lines.... Still may not stop me from this but bleh lol.

tjlazer 01-13-2013 02:41 PM

I had that concern too. It's not noticeable at all once installed. And the $2,000 savings helped a tad too ;)

Bandit_Kaine 01-13-2013 03:52 PM

Only thing about the wing I don't like is that it's right In the center of the rear view mirror making it almost useless.

Nismo spoiler is only 5 cm shorter. trust me, youre not gaining/losing much if you go with either. your reverse cam is your best friend after one of these. i thought the same thing after driving my friends nismo but then getting out to look at it and only thought was "damn....."

I know, from the outside it looks perfect.. but i meant while driving, if you look in the rear view mirror the wing is right in the middle which makes it really hard to see cars behind you.

Lemers 01-13-2013 07:15 PM

any other choices on spoilers that use the OEM sport spoiler holes?

Don't think so.. I believe seibon NSM goes over the OEM holes. But not sure if it actually uses them.

cooltoy 01-13-2013 09:44 PM

You are correct.

Lemers 01-13-2013 10:36 PM

the Seibon CF Nismo uses the holes made by the OEM Nismo spoiler, which is not the same as the OEM sport.

So I just ordered the EVO-R Nismo High wing from the Z store...I just want to share some of my experience so far.

Right out of the package I found a deep scratch in the rear of the wing.
http://i358.photobucket.com/albums/o...B204788359.jpg
I don't think it can be buffed out.
Then near the sharp edges of the spoiler where it bends downwards, the carbon fiber weave is completely exposed/cracked. If you run your finger along that edge you'll instantly realize that it's rough and not smooth like the rest of the spoiler.

Right now The Z store is happily to work with me for an exchange but I have to wait for 3-4 weeks. Hopefully the next one will be better. Keep you guys updated.

GL bro :ughdance: Sorry to see ya off to a bad start. Are they comping you anything for your time? Kinda sucks to have to wait another month.....

axmea? 01-15-2013 01:58 AM

Sorry to hear about the blemished purchase. Hope EVO-R takes care of you.

Jasonle 01-15-2013 05:18 AM

That's good there working with you on that. That sucks tho for another wait. GL

douji 01-15-2013 06:09 AM

How much is this wing running now?

No, I guess shipping is comp, so I'm ok. I was expecting the worst for them to not even cover that --- that would have sucked if that was the case. I wasn't ready to fork out another ~$100 to ship it back.

The Z store said they would inspect it carefully next time before they ship anything out next time for me. So we'll see...

The link is listed below:
Carbon Fiber Listed $549.95 + shipping
FRP Listed $439.95 + shipping

370Zsteve 02-16-2013 03:36 PM

Zstore is a quality outfit, they will take care of you.

I receive a lot of things via UPS and Fedex as well as independent shippers every day. You have to inspect every box before you accept delivery. Time-consuming but necessary.

And you never know...that scratch might have been caused by an overzealous new owner opening the box with a sharp knife...I speak from experience.... :ugh2:

So I got some updates for the Nismo High Wing from the Z store. Luckily I did not deal with EVO-R directly. He's on vacay for 2 weeks to celebrate CNY.

The Z Store got 2 new spoilers with 1 having the same exact issues with the broken weave at the edges. As for the other one had a blur in the resin at the inner tip and a small hair line scratch which hopefully can be buffed out.

http://i358.photobucket.com/albums/o...pse6dd89f9.jpg

I'm at the pt where I'm just going to have them ship it out so I can have it by sometime Tuesday. We'll see if by the time I get it in person, it won't be so bad. =/ This sucks...

EVOR 02-17-2013 04:43 AM

Looks like the first damage was from the shipping. I'll do more inspection and pack with more protection on next shipping. As for the weave. It is very hard to have perfect lining and the edge, since they curve in so much.

Z eliminator 02-17-2013 08:21 AM

Do you have the hardware bolts for the wing i need them. I bought the wing ( looks great and the guy had the paint touched up.) Can not wait to install it.
But i need the bolts for it.

EVOR 02-17-2013 09:37 AM

highwing?

Z eliminator 02-17-2013 02:29 PM

yes i need the bolts for the high wing.
it such a nice wing can not wait to install it.

Just curious as to about how much the body shops are charging for prep, paint, removal of sport spoiler, and install of the new one? I'm guess around $300 - $500 am I even close?
