Windshield Being Relpaced

Having my windshield replaced today at Safelite Auto Glass
Didn't realize they had to completely strip all the molding
from around the doors and all. Hope it turns out ok.
Kinda worried about wind and water leaks.

make damn sure they glue it back to ensure it doesn't move. its held with tabs for the most part but glue helps around the bottom. also before they put the pillars back on inspect to see if he broke any tabs. if they didn't remove the strut brace up front it won't seat right either... ask me how i know lol

They usually do a good job. Safelite replaced my girlfriend's windshield on her CLK500 with an OEM piece. The install was good except the installer got some dirt on the a-pillar fabric. Definitely watch if you can.

ive read several issues people had with safelite glass (make sure you get OEM) and their work. i would stick around and watch the entire process, take video as needed for potential insurance claim AFTER their work.
