i have been looking through the manual trying to find a answer but i cant so maybe someone can help
i just bought a new 2011 370Z the key works it will start the car no low battry warning for the key i can unlock/lock the door with the button on the handle but no matter what i try i can not lock/unlock or even get the alarm to work with the actual key any one have any ideas on trouble shooting or anything |

It's brand new so go to the dealer and have them take a look at it

Just a shot in the dark but maybe the door button reads for the security imprint on the key and not the electronic fob running off the battery (am I making sense), so it works when your in proximity but the FOB itself doesn't. Try changing the battery.
