Neon lighting
I searched but did not find any topics of this. I'm thinking about purple neon lighting for the undercarriage. Is this tacky? I know some people put neon everywhere, inside and out...but i was only thinking about the bottom of the vehicle. Does anyone currently have neon lighting on their 370? If so, can you post pics?

I hope you take it from the lack of activity on this thread that most are sparing you their comments. I think IMO most on here will say that that mod is a no go. BUt heck if you like it and it is what you want do it up and post some pics. But i would not do it to my ride.

I personally think you will look riced if you do it. I like neon's but would never put them on something like a z. maybe in the engine bay or something for shows but that is about it. If you do put them on the bottom it will look horrible. There is nothing down there to hide the bulbs, so everyone and their brother will see the bulbs and you will look like some kid in high school that went to auto zone bought an underglow kit and tossed them on there.

I don't think there's any kit out yet. But you're more than welcome to check out some of these sites and maybe you can use an existing kit?
LED UnderGlow Kits Street*Glow*Underglow*Light... It's YOUR car and YOU'RE paying monthly payment and insurance on it. With that said, you're entitled to do whatever you feel necessary to your car. Good luck.

Erm.. Neon kits and LED's are universal you just put the bulbs under and do the wiring its really easy. The problem is they look horrible when you can see the bulbs.. and there is nothing at all to hide the bulbs on the 370

I like having lights under my dash while driving at night. So I will probably get this done.. but under the car... I know in many places its illegal to drive with them lit. Unless your doing a bunch of car shows or wanna show off at night why bother?
With the money you spend on one of those kits I am sure you could buy an intake system.... But hey its your money and your car. Do it up bro.

Based on this last response, either the entire thread was a joke to get people overexcited or Osiris really is someone that would hates Civics for some unmentioned reason.
As for the use of neon undercarriage lights, there is nothing wrong with them. We all add stuff to our car that we think looks good that really look tacky, but we press on with 'whatever floats your boat.' Shift knobs that don't match anything on the car, grilles or body kits that don't flow with the lines of the car, rims that ruin the look of a car and are heavy, with spokes that are too fat or too skinny all come to mind of the things we tolerate. But then we reach vinyl and neon. Neither add performance, but they can look good if executed properly. I saw a beautiful Trans-Am floating on a cloud of blue neon just the other night. It looked really good. To each their own. If you live life to please others, you aren't living. I say go for it. Install some LED strips under the car and under the dash. You can even get them with the ability to change the colors so when you get tired of one color, you can change it, or just turn it to white for working under the car.
