Default Nissan 370z Seats

Hi, I'm thinking of getting a 370z nismo, but the problem I'm facing right now is that the seats are a bit too "high" for me. I'm approx 6' tall, so even with the seat at its lowest, my head is barely touching the roof, and my thighs are kinda cramped. I was wondering if this problem is fixable through aftermarket seats, or will I be unable to buy this beast .

i'm 6ft and I fit in my z fine. seat all the way back and reclining a bit. i know you said your feet were cramped but if you moved up a bit you could recline more for head room and the roof of the car is a bit higher farther up in the cabin.

Not sure if the Nismo seating arrangement is different than a sport package interior, but I'm 6'3 and I fit just fine...

Even at 5'10 I can't imagine 2 inches would make that much difference. Maybe the Nismo has higher seats??

I'm 6'-1" and I fit fine sitting straight up in my seat. People's bodies are all proportioned differently, though.

I am also 6' tall and have absolutely no problem fitting (base + sport). I did have a 6'6" friend in the car once, the key is just to recline the seat a little and you will not have any problems at all.

I'm 6'6" and while not ideal I do fit OK. Seats that have different rails that help the seats sit lower would be a plus.

don't forget to lower the seat bottom... There's an adjustment there that I missed the first time I sat in one. 6'5, couple notches from the rear most position and a couple notches up from fully reclined, where your arms feel comfortable on the wheel.

BTW, looks like you could get 1 to 2 inches from a hacked rear bracket.

Yes, most of the aftermarket seats (on the racing/performance end) will give you more headroom. Another option is to drop the rails and bolt directly to the floor.

Nismo seats are the exact same dimensions as sport package.
